How much does a portfolio website cost?
Payment can be made through PayPal, which is a worldwide leader in internet commerce. Payment is made using Visa, American Express, Discover or MasterCard (other options are available; please go to www.paypal.com for more information). Payment is made after you have selected the portfolio of your choice, and before your images are uploaded to our server.
Is there a set-up or monthly fee?
There is no set-up or monthly fee when you purchase one of our portfolio websites. The cost of your domain name and hosting recurs after one full year.
Do I own the website?
Aside from the annual cost for your domain name and hosting service, you have non-exclusive ownership of the portfolio website once payment is made.
What’s a domain name?
Your domain name is the name of your website address. For example: www.myname.com is my domain name. Emage Portfolio Sites includes the cost of your domain name in the purchase of your website for one year. If you do not have a domain name, your best choice for your domain name would be your full name. The cost of your domain name recurs after one full year.
Is web hosting included?
Web hosting is included with all of our sites for one full year. Along with your domain name, the cost of hosting your website occurs after one full year, and is a once a year minimal cost.
What if I have an existing domain name and/or hosting service, can I use them?
Of course you can, all we need is the information from your existing domain and/or hosting company to direct the portfolio website and away we go.
How many photos can I display in my portfolio site and why are there minimum requirements?
You have up to 20 photos to display on your website; you have an option to add more photos for a small fee. The minimum photo requirements ensure that your website remains at the highest quality. Photos should be no smaller than 700px by 500px at 72dpi. Your photographer will probably provide you with bigger photos than that.
What if I don’t have 20 images available yet?
You can always email your photos when they’re ready to images@portfolio-sites.com with your information.
How long does it take to create the site?
Flash Portfolio sites usually take between 3 to 10 business days.
What if I wanted to change my existing images or add more photos to my site?
We can always change your existing photos or add more photos to your portfolio, just email your request to images@portfolio-sites.com. A small fee will apply.
What if I wanted a different portfolio design?
Not a problem, our web design team can produce a custom portfolio website to your specifications, you can email us at info@portfolio-sites.com and we will be in touch with you to discuss the details further.
Do you have a referral program?
We do have a referral program. As an existing client, any referral that you send to us who successfully purchases our portfolio websites entitles you to one of the following:
• 5 addition photos added to your portfolio
• Annual renewal of your domain name
• $10 US referral fee sent through PayPal
Do you have a cancellation policy?
Yes we do. You may cancel your website at any time. Your website will be active for the remainder of the year, but at the end of the year, your website will be taken down. Emage Portfolio Sites will take down your website at any time upon request. There are no fees to cancel your website, ever.
Do you have a refund policy?
You have up to 48 hours after payment to do so, an administration fee will be deducted from your payment.
